Board of Trustees
We are committed to forging cohesive and sustainable partnerships with Scottish professional football clubs, governing and professional bodies, as well as leading mental health organisations and educational institutions, to help deliver a national campaign to promote awareness on a national platform.
We believe that through effective dialogue with our key partnership organisations we can maximise impact and effectiveness through a stronger collective voice and greater influence to shape policy and transform available services to help those suffering with poor mental health.
The Chris Mitchell Foundation works closely with the following organisations:
“The Scottish Professional Football League Trust is an independent, registered charity that works in partnership with all 42 SPFL Clubs to develop community activities across Scotland. Through the power of football we aim to make a difference, empowering our clubs to create opportunities at the heart of our communities that bring people together and change lives for the better.”
“PFA Scotland, as the independent trade union for professional footballers, is the collective voice for players in Scotland. As an organisation our aim is to protect and promote the interests of our members.PFA Scotland is run by players for players and the experience within our team means we are committed to providing our members with the best possible advice and representation.”
“Our main area of support is pastoral and spiritual care. We help support chaplains in a variety of sporting settings such as football, rugby, golf and more.”
